`VIOLET, BEAUTIFUL FACE YOU HAVE` - OUR WELCOMING OF SPRING!

Traditional scouts "Violet, beautiful face you have" of scout "Kralj Petar I" was organized this year for the fifteenth time. Due to weather activities it was carried out in a covered hall of primary school "Kralj Petar I" which is not as originally it had been planned in Memorial Park `Bubanj`.

This action is created as a sort of scout salute to spring and it is the first major gathering of Nis fledglings and bees this year. Fledglings and bees competed at the training ground skills, knowledge of road signs, scout quiz, relay, memory game and in several other field games designed for their age.

The youngest members of the scout organization on behalf of Palilula were welcomed by President Boban Džunić. He stressed the importance and role of the Scout Movement in working with children and young people. Such activities should be supported because it is an organization with a long tradition, but also an organization that is recognized by the results in volunteer work, said president Džunić. On behalf of The Scout Association of the City of Nis participants were greeted by Ratomir Petkovic, head of the Union of Nis, stressing that these activities are part of the scout organization dedicated to its youngest members,

In the words of Milena Petkovic, Head of action, first place in the overall standings, the action "Violet, beautiful your face you have," won the fledglings and bees from of the "Kralj Petar I", second placed were fledglings and bees of the detachment "Djordje Simeonović " Zajecar and third place awards went to fledglings and bees from detachment" Karadjordje ". Participants of the action this year as part of the program dealt with the skill "Fireman", thanks to the help of members of the Nis Fire Rescue Brigade.

In addition to the awards of organizers and auspices of this action, commemorative prizes were awarded also by the Tourist Organization of Nis. Three of scout detachment "Djuka Dinić '," Kralj Petar I "and" Training ship Adriatic ", successfully are active in the territory of Palilula and have very good support of municipal management - Office for Youth of Palilula and educational institutions.
